We offer portable saw milling services, with the flexibility to mill timber on-site or off-site depending on your project’s needs and the site condition.
Our company Director, Forrest, leads our team in delivering quality results. Since purchasing his first mill over 25 years ago, Forrest has accumulated thousands of hours experience operating portable sawmills.
When suitable logs are available, we have the capability and experience to supply the entire timber requirements for a whole house project—from framing and structural timbers to finishing details.
Much like the “paddock to plate” approach in the food industry, this method allows us to process timber directly from its source, ensuring traceability and making better use of parts of the tree that are often discarded in commercial operations.
Our services are especially valuable for processing waste trees from bushfire management or site clearing for building projects. With extensive experience in selective harvesting and native bush management, Forrest understands how careful timber extraction can support the long-term health of forests.
After harvesting and milling, we typically season the timber before it is used. From this point, timber can either be used directly on site it’s raw state, or sent off-site for machining into specific sizes such as cladding, flooring, or structural features.
Forrest is qualified to grade timber to meet engineering specifications.
